If that's the case, as in most threads, then it's better off if you leave it. That means it didn't have enough content to keep a discussion going. If it exceeds 2 or 3 months, it's usually a bad idea to post, since these threads are considered "dead". Whenever you see a thread where you want to post, make sure you check the date in which the last post was made.
